My name is Mark Robinson and I have been fascinated by Japanese Swords since my first exposure to them in college more than 20 years ago. It is a complex hobby in which one never will know "everything" as there are always new things to learn. I go to Japan at least twice a year just to further my knowledge. It has been these trips to Japan that have exposed me to other areas of Japanese Art that I have become interested in, such as ceramics, paintings and armor.

I am a director of the Japanese Sword Club of Hawaii as well as a member of the N.B.T.H.K. and N.T.H.K. in Japan as well as three other U.S Sword Societies. I appraise Japanese swords and art at no charge or obligation and I buy single pieces as well as whole collections.

I hope this site will spark an interest with other people as well as provide an avenue for discussion of this subject. I look forward to hearing from you.
