This spider web designed Kyo Sukashi tsuba is a very bold and powerful yet simple design. The concentric symmetry and the very fine lines are an extremely demanding and difficult design to execute properly. This piece is one of the largest examples of a Kyo sukashi tsuba that I have come across and its condition and patina are first class. It comes with a NBTHK Hozon paper and a kiri wood box. This piece came out of a Japanese collection of exceptional quality.
